CHARLES WHITE
CHARLES WHITE (1918-1979), born in Chicago, studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Art Students League, New York. Employed by the Works Project Administration during the depression, White completed several large-scale murals, including one at the Chicago Public Library. He taught at the Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles, from 1965 until his death.
