WILLIAM ANDERSON

WILLIAM ANDERSON (b. 1932), from Selma, Alabama, received a BA from Alabama State University, a BFA from the University of Wisconsin, and an MFA from the Instituto Allende, San Miguel, Mexico. Anderson recently retired as professor of art and photography at Morehouse College, Atlanta. His works are in the collections of the National Gallery of Art, Washington DC, the Wadsworth Athenaeum, Hartsford, Connecticut, the Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven, the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles, and the High Museum of Art, Atlanta.
