LIONEL LOFTON
Lionel Lofton (b. 1954) is best known for his abstract paintings though he frequently works in printmaking and mixed media. He was greaetly influenced by John Biggers, under whom he studied at Texas Southern University. His works have been seen across the country, with exhibitions at the San Antonio Museum of Art, the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, and the Museum of African Life and Culture, Dallas.
