Lori Crawford is an Associate Professor of Art at Delaware State University in computer graphics and art history. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Morehead State University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Computer Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her socially conscious work manifests itself in diverse mediums including paint, collage, photography, digital art and installations. The Sista Series contemplates modern artistic masters such as Picasso, Duchamp and Dekooning and the European woman used as models when creating works of art. The Sista Series plays on some of those master works to pay homage to women of color. |
