| Eligibility | Students in grades K through 6 ONLY are eligible. |
| Location | Classes will be held in the: Room 114, of the University
of Delaware's Pearson Hall, located on Academy Street,
Newark, DE. Registration will be held at 200 Academy Street, Room 103. You may print a registration form to complete at home, but you may not register early. Registrations received prior to actual registration dates will be returned. |

Session I: October 15, 22, 29 and November 5, 12, and 19 Session II:January 7, 14, 21, 28 and February 4 and 11 Session III: February 25, March 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 Three time options will be offered as follows: 8:30 am to 10:00 am 10:15 am to 11:45 am 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm |
| Format | Designed to be an enriching experience that helps children realize that math is FUN. Part of the time will be spent doing hands-on problem solving math activities and the other part doing math activities on the computer. |
| Cost | Tuition is $70 per student per six week session. Because of scheduling conflicts, missed lessons cannot be made up. Classes missed due to inclement weather will be rescheduled. Please allow extra time for your check to be processed. |
| Faculty | Kathleen Giordano, has 25 years of teaching
experience in early childhood education. She has a B.S. in early
childhood education from Delaware State University. Kathleen has been a teacher in DE and NJ for 25 years. Karen Fredricks Nationally Board Certified Teacher with 33 years of Teaching experience, grades 1-8; Math Recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math & Science teaching. Johnna Koshland is a degreed teacher and has been with the outreach program for 7years. Angie Alston has more than 12 years teaching experience in the New Jersey school system, and has been with the program for 4 years. |
| Enrollment | Enrollment will be limited. Students will be registered on a first-paid, first-served basis. |
| Registration |
Registration for: Session I only will begin Friday, September 23rd Session II only will begin Friday, December 9th Session III only will begin Friday, January 27th Registration remains open until classes are filled or until the first day of class. We are only accepting mail-in registrations. You will receive a confirmation letter for admittance to class either by mail or email. University of Delaware’s Mathematics & Science Education Resource Center is located in Room 103, 200 Academy Street, Newark, DE. We cannot accept credit cards. Fee must accompany application. Mail-in registrations are required, however checks will be returned if sent in before the registration date. Your registration fee will be returned promptly to students we are unable to accommodate at a given time. Classes fill quickly, be sure to arrive early. We cannot hold seats in the classes. |
| Refund Policy | Any student who withdraws from the course on or before the Wednesday preceding the first class will receive an unconditional refund of $70. If withdrawal occurs after this date but on or before the Wednesday immediately following the first class meeting, $50 will be refunded provided a replacement can be found for that student. No refunds will be made for withdraws made after the Wednesday following the first class meeting. |
