The first column is the Standard, reprinted and numbered according to New Directions-Science Curriculum Framework (June, 1995). The Teacher's Desk Reference was used to identify which Standard(s) are supported by each grade-level PI. The third column is a shorthand phrase for the major idea or skill being developed by these documents. Finally, at the right-hand side of the document is a column with the names of the University of Delaware courses that are available to support the teacher's understanding and classroom presentation of these ideas. As new curricula are developed, this document will be updated-it may be downloaded, copied and distributed without limitation.
