MSERC: graduate level courses of study
Linking with faculty from across the campus, MSERC has developed and offers graduate level courses of study for middle school teachers in science and mathematics. These programs are intended to help teachers achieve new levels of success in the classroom and enhance professional satisfaction. These 15-credit hour programs (5 courses) provide teachers with deep content understanding and support the state content standards as well as model effective student-centered pedagogies. MSERC staffs are primary instructors in the course offerings, but are usually the courses are collaborations with University faculty and also experienced classroom teachers. These programs are titled:
