Join us to learn more about the evening's concert and enjoy a gourmet meal at the MPCS  Prelude Dinners, as MPCS believes "The arts are not complete without the art of food."

Park early, dine with fellow patrons and learn more about the featured artists, the performance, and the historical context of the compositions from our artistic director Xiang Gao and renowned guest speakers. The dinners are held just steps away from the performance, and a shuttle service will be provided from the CFA parking lot to the dinner and concert. (Upscale, private dining location to be announced.)

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a complimentary full and open bar followed by a catered four-course dinner. Each dinner will start with a brief pre-concert talk given by a MPCS guest speaker.

Space for these fun and educational pre-concert dinners benefiting MPCS is limited. Making reservations 10 days prior to the concert date is recommended (reservations are by email only at



$120 per person, one prime seat ticket*, parking, shuttle service, wine, dinner and tip included.

$220 for couple with two prime seat tickets*, parking, shuttle service, wine, dinner and tip included.

Prime seating tickets for Prelude Dinners guests are not managed by the box office.

Patrons who wish to purchase Prelude Dinners in addition to a Series Subscription should first purchase their subscription through the Box Office, and then contact for the pro-rated Prelude Dinner price 10 days prior to the event.
