Last season’s Mostly Mozart! premiered to a sold-out audience, so MPCS is presenting an encore! The second installment features guest artists Jonathan Carney, violinist, violist and concertmaster of the Baltimore Symphony; concert pianist Jeffrey Sharkey, director of the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University; Allison Wells, British concert cellist; and violinist Xiang Gao performing brilliant chamber music compositions by Mozart. These world-class artists also perform Brahms’s Piano Quartet in G Minor with the famous “gypsy” finale.
Dr. Sharkey, a Newark native, returns to MPCS for his second appearance to host the event and share his success story, as well as his personal interpretation of the music of Mozart and Brahms.
