Task Force Charge

This task force will examine the planning and resource allocation processes with specific attention to the following issues:

  • How successful has been the transition from centralized to decentralized academic planning and resource allocation?

  •  
  • What has been the impact of technology on the planning and resource allocation processes? Has the University taken full advantage of technology as a planning tool, and as a tool for achieving greater economies of efficiency with regard to preservation of fiscal resources?

  •  
  • What sorts of information (e.g., benchmarking studies, salary studies, campus climate and satisfaction studies, etc.) underpin planning and resource allocation at the University?
