Honesty is essential in the Medical Technology
profession. Students are encouraged to become familiar with the University's Policy
for Academic Honesty found in the Student
Guide to University Policies Any incidence of suspected cheating on examination,
plagiarism, or any other form of academic dishonesty by a student will be reviewed
by the Undergraduate Judicial System. Determination of misconduct may result in
an F in the course and automatic dismissal from the Medical Technology major.
Student Grievances and
Disciplinary Action
Any student grievance shall be discussed
with the clinical instructor first, and the Laboratory Clinical Coordinator,
if necessary. If a problem is unresolved, the Technical Lab Director, Laboratory
Clinical Coordinator, Section Supervisor, Instructor, University Education
Coordinator or Department Chair, and the student will meet to discuss the
matter of concern. The student should refer to the Student

Academic Services
The University of Delaware offers services for
students with learning disabilities. Students are encouraged to contact the Office of Academic
