1. No. Hyaline casts in low numbers are within the reference range (0-2/lpf). Uric acid crystals can be present in non-pathological cases and are the waste result of purine metabolism. However, long term high concentrations of uric acid may indicate pathologies such as gout or leukemia. In this case, the uric acid may be the main calculus' component made evident in the Gallbladder ultrasound.
