  1. Oliguria is a term that describes the excretion of less than 400 mL of urine in 24 hours. Oliguria can be seen in individuals experiencing diarrhea, vomiting, excessive sweating, water deprivation, and urinary tract diseases. Destruction to the renal tubules can also limit the daily output of urine.
