The sensitivity of the multistix pad is about 10 cells/hpf. Since 10-15 cells could be seen in microscopics along with WBC cellular casts, the Leukocyte results on the Multistix should have been obtained as positive.
This discrepency can be explained as indicating a higher percentage of non-granular and/or non-esterase containing leukocytes like lymphocytes.
