Honors Day Awards

In general, the following awards are a one-time recognition and carry a monetary award. They are presented at the Honors Day Award Ceremony that is held each May.

Peter G. Anderson Scholarship

    Eligibility

• Awarded to two junior medical technology students

    Requirements

• Academic achievement, integrity, and professionalism
• Minimum 3.0 GPA

W. Robert Bailey Memorial Award

    Eligibility

• Senior medical technology student

    Requirements

• Academic achievement and potential for outstanding professional performance
• Highest cumulative index of senior MT students

Medical Technology Alumni Award

    Eligibility

• Sophomore medical technology student

    Requirements

• Promise of future achievement in the profession
• Highest GPA of sophomore MTI students

Medical Technology Faculty Award

    Eligibility

• Senior medical technology student

    Requirements

• Academic achievement
• Personal qualities of honesty, initiative, and cooperation
• Minimum 3.0 GPA

QS Pharma Award

    Eligibility

• Senior medical technology student

    Requirements

• Academic achievement, initiative, and leadership
• Non-traditional career exploration through participation in an internship experience
• Minimum 3.0 GPA

Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Medical Technology Award

    Eligibility

• Awarded to two senior medical technology students

    Requirements

• Academic achievement and leadership
• Motivation to pursue a career in medical technology
• Minimum 3.5 GPA
