The University
of Delaware invites your graduate school to participate in the 7th
annual National McNair Scholars Research Conference and Graduate
School Fair on Friday, October 2, 2009. Come
meet an exceptionally talented, research-oriented group of undergraduates
who aim to earn a doctoral degree and who wish to learn more about
graduate school opportunities at your institution. On behalf of
the University of Delaware and McNair Scholars from across the country,
we hope you will be able to accept our invitation to participate.
We look forward to seeing you at the University of Delaware's National
McNair Scholars Research Conference and Graduate School Fair.
Exhibitor
Registration for the Graduate School Fair

Exhibitors
must pre-register for the Graduate School Fair.
Please use the Exhibitor Registration Form,
to be printed out and submitted by fax or mail.

Please
register early—Exhibitor
registration for the Graduate School Fair is limited, and is
processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The
Graduate School Fair will be held from 4:00-6:00
p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2009, in the Trabant
University Center at the University of Delaware Newark campus
(click
here for directions). An exhibit table
will be provided for your use. You may sign in for your exhibit
table from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
at the Clayton Hall Conference Center, or from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
in the Trabant University Center (click
here for directions to either location).
Exhibit tables must be set up by 3:30 p.m. Please allow extra
time for travel delays.
In addition
to registering as an exhibitor at the Graduate School Fair, you
may find it beneficial to register for and attend the entire conference.
Use the Exhibitor Registration Form
for this option. This event will afford a wonderful opportunity
for graduate admissions representatives and McNair scholars alike.
About
the McNair Scholars Program
One of six
federally funded TRIO Programs, the Ronald E. McNair Post Baccalaureate
Achievement Program (the McNair Scholars Program) offers
effective preparation for doctoral study to low-income, first-generation
college students and students from groups underrepresented in graduate
education. McNair Scholars participate in extensive undergraduate
research internships in their field of interest. Currently, 162
McNair Programs serving more than 3000 students are funded at colleges
and universities across the United States.
