Bob Carpenter Sports/ Convocation Center
Opened in 1992, the Bob Carpenter Center honors the late R.R.M. "Bob" Carpenter, UD trustee, athletic benefactor, and former owner of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Seating 5,000 people, the Bob is the home of Blue Hen men's and women's basketball games, Winter Commencement ceremonies and a variety of major concerts and special events. Performers at the facility have included the Indigo Girls, Counting Crows, Live, Billy Joel, the Steve Miller Band, Bob Dylan, Phish, Alanis Morisette, Bill Cosby, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Tony Bennett, The Royal Lipizzaner Stallions, the Lord of the Dance, Alabama and Sesame Street Live.
The Bob Carpenter Center box office is a Ticketmaster outlet.

Mitchell Hall
Built in 1930, Mitchell Hall was the gift of H. Rodney Sharp and was named in honor of Samuel Chiles Mitchell, president of Delaware College, 1914-1920. It was the first performing arts auditorium on the campus.
An extensive $2 million renovation of Mitchell Hall was completed in 1994, making it one of the finest small theatres in the area. Today, the building houses some of the theatre department's faculty, and the auditorium is used for concerts, plays, special events and lectures and campus visit programs.
Mitchell Hall is one of a several performance spaces on the campus, including the Loudis Recital Hall in Amy E. du Pont Music Building, Hartshorn Hall, Pearson Hall, the Bacchus Theatre in Perkins Student Center, Trabant University Center, Wolf Hall, and Bayard Sharp Hall.

Hartshorn Hall
Beatrice Hartshorn Hall was built in 1931, then as part of the Women's College campus. It originally served as the women's gymnasium (and is still sometimes referred to as Hartshorn Gym.) It honors Beatrice Hartshorn, professor of physical education from 1925 to 1962. In 1990, the building was renovated for the use of the Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP).
