  1. Finish converting 1200 02S COE student responses to the new format. (IN PROGRESS)

Completed Fall 2004

  1. Change reports and consolidated report for admins so that they can see *all* responses for course sections even if less than 3 students responded. Faculty may only see student responses when 3 or more students in a courses section have responded (no change for faculty). (Gempesaw approved May 2004) (FIXED)
  2. Request is to order menu in sequence it is used. On instr.jsp and admin.jsp (FIXED):
    • Move these three sections in this order to the bottom -- "Search for Student Responses or Participation" and "Consolidated Report" and "Prepare for Evaluations"
    • Move "View Course Instructors" before "Question Banks"
    • NOTE: that would make "View Evaluations for Courses I Teach" first.
  3. Change "Manage staff" screen to 3 access roles: manage questions, view responses, both
    • Only super-admins (Joy Lisa) may specify "View responses"
    • Test approvers adding other approvers.
    • Those who can manage questions can't see responses. (worked = terrie)
    • 10/18/04 OBSERVATION - admins may add admins at their level or below
  4. On admin.jsp, "View Questions To Be Used" section, add item above "My Instructor questions" titled "Administrative listing" with a course ID input box where partial IDs (CHEG* CHEG342*) work. If blank, then all sections I am an admin for are returned in a listing like searchresults.jsp without participation. (FIXED)

  6. 4231 - on consolidated reports, when crs id not valid or is partial id, get returned to menu
  7. Create "Special programs" group. Admin = Madeline Lambrecht (FIXED)
    From: Suzanne Stanley - The section numbers are coded to indicated that they are special programs. These include 150 to 159, and 190 to 199 and include all subject areas. (FIXED)
  8. 2811 - cross-listed results viewing for chair/dead/admins (FIXED)
  9. On admin/reports/consolidated.jsp, if using "Consolidated Report" and no data is available for them to query show: "There is no data available for this query or your access privileges do not permit viewing it." (FIXED)
  10. Add "Finish & Submit" on student view last page. (FIXED)
  11. 2186 - if you try to add a question that has already been assigned to an evaluation, you get no error message. Need error msg for ques already assigned (FIXED)

  13. On brief report, add NOWRAP on <td> for Total value (ex: 3 / 13) and on "Std Dev" title (FIXED)

    2. Instead of enter SSN use lookup by name as is currently being used on Dept News admin. (FIXED)

Enhancement Requests

  1. Enable university-assigned questions. (MIS has coding done.)
  2. Allow pasting of multiple participating sections like MAILMAN.
  3. Assign question: need way to do exceptions ...
  4. Consider block scheduled courses. Example: ARTC graduate-level evaluations, BUAD856 where 3 instructors are evaluated throughout the term, EMBA is is different schedule, MEDT405 & 115, 420 & 421, 404 & 414
  5. The Provost Office approved the use of the following scale: Strongly Disagree / Disagree / Slightly Disagree / Slightly Agree / Agree / Strongly Agree with "Strongly Agree" = 6 and "Strongly Disagree" = 1 as all our scales have the good response equal to the high number. My note: change HESC course questions affected by 6-point rating scale. Need to change Create a Question and reports.
  6. Curriculum committee - create role, limit access to course (not instructor) questions, use consolidated report view.
  7. Code "major" report.
  8. Create faculty/admin "search by terms report"
  9. Enable "calendar" admin function
