Volunteers
Step one: Watch our training powerpoint presentation to familiarize yourself with our volunteer guidelines.
Step two: Download the volunteering waiver. Please read it carefully and return it to us at one of our meetings or contact us to drop it off to an officer. When you return your waiver, please also turn in $5 and we will give you your volunteer shirt!
Step three: Email a schedule of your normal weekly obligations to contact@lorishands.org
Step four: Join our scheduling website
Under, “Interested in becoming a member of this community?” fill in your e-mail address. We will receive an e-mail asking us to approve you as a member. We will approve you once you have watched the powerpoint, signed your waiver, and sent us your schedule. You will then be added to the community and sent instructions for setting a password and signing in. You can use the calendar to see when volunteers are needed and to sign up for slots you’re interested in.
Step five (Optional): If you plan on driving to our volunteer sites you must sign
a driving waiver. Return it to us at one of our meetings or contact us to drop it off to an officer.
