Change of Major Process

Exercise Science

Students interested in this major may apply online at any time once a University of Delaware GPA of 2.5 GPA and the completion of BISC207 and CHEM103 with a C- or better to change into Exercise Science. There is no “Interest” area for this major. There is no paper application.

Athletic Training

A 2.0 minimum GPA is required to transfer into Athletic Training. To be eligible to apply for Athletic Training, the following criteria must be met: 30 credits completed which include CHEM 103, ENGL 110, MATH, PSYC 100, HESC 210, HESC 240, HESC 220 and HESC 155, completed observation hours in the training room, and a minimum GPA of a 2.5. Space is limited and selection is competitive. Fulfilling the minimum requirements does not guarantee admittance to AT. This is a four year program and cannot be completed in any less time.

Applications to Athletic Training major are accepted only once a year – June 1 st. Students may apply to the Interest area online at any time once a 2.0 overall GPA has been established. An interview may be requested at the time of application to the Interest area.
