Directions to start: I-95 to Delaware Exit 1 (896N); follow 896 through
downtown Newark;
W.S. Carpenter Recreation Area is on Rt. 896 about 2.5 miles north
of Newark (DE) on the right.
Toilets, phone, covered pavilion, picnic tables with BBQ's, plenty
of parking....
All 3 races start and finish near the pavilion.
This event is a Mission Project of Head of Christiana
Presbyterian Church
Proceeds benefit four local faith-based homeless shelter
programs:
Meeting Ground, Friendship House,
Elkton Men's Shelter and Emmaus House.
