The organizers and sponsors of the Triple Crown race series support the following homeless shelter programs:

Meeting Ground is based in Cecil County, MD, and operates Clairvaux Farm, a rural shelter for homeless families, as well as a women's shelter in Elkton. Director: Rev. Carl Mazza. (410) 275-2936

Friendship House operates the Sunday Breakfast Mission, St. Andrew's Place and various other shelter, job-placement and counseling services for homeless men, women and families in Wilmington, DE. Director: Bill Perkins. (302) 652-8278

The Elkton Men's Shelter serves single homeless men, for whom assistance programs are often scarcest. The shelter is located on Main St. in Elkton, MD. Director: Alice Tarr.

Emmaus House provides shelter and counseling for homeless families in Newark, DE. The Homeward Bound program also provides parenting classes and battered women's support groups for the community. Directors: Mary Ellen Green and Nancy Berry (302) 737-2241
