• Kris runs 1:33:05, 5th overall, at the Homer Half-Marathon 9/1/02 in Homer, Alaska, and has been tearing up the local 5K circuit since.

• Half-Wit Half-Marathon 8/18/02, Mt. Penn, PA.  Kris 2:22:55; Loren in 2:26:17; Hunt 2:54:18; Terri 2:54:52 run the stairs from hell on a hot Sunday!

• Catoctin 50K 8/10/02, Frederick, MD: John 6:46:59, Carl and Margie 8:11:41, Stewart Ralph and Huey in Buick!  Wasps and rattlesnakes, Catoctin Rocks!
• Escarpment Trail 30K 7/28/02, Windham, NY to North Lake: John 4:20:13, Hunt 5:13:58.  Fantastic point-to-point trail in the Catskills, more black toenails. John's narrative
• Kris tears up the triathlon circuit: 2:40:56 for 115/366 overall at the Wilkes-Barre Triathlon 8/4/02; 1st/47 F3034 and 84/583 overall at the Riverwatch Triathlon 7/28/02.
• Sunset Sprint Tri 7/20/02 Bridgeton, NJ (0.5miS/16miB/3.1miR) Kris finishes in 1:30:03: 102/389; 5/19F3034; 20/123F -- nice narrative!.
• Inaugural TrailDawgs Fat-Ass 50K+ 6/29/02.  26 finishers including John, Erin, Stewart, Hunt, Margie and Carl.  Congratulations to Erin for her fastest women's ultramarathon time ever run in Delaware!  Full results and race report on Carl's UltraDawgs page.
• Double Trouble 6/23/02, French Creek State Park.  Hunt and John.  John runs it like a total rookie...goes off course...we're not going to say much about this one.
• Marathon Sports Sprint Triathlon 6/16/02.  Kris 48/278 overall, 8/98F, wins F30-34 age group: 9:24 swim + 49:06 bike + 20:28 run = 1:18:58 total.
• Eagleman Triathlon 6/9/02, Cambridge, MD--Kris's first triathlon: 37:10 1.2-mile swim; 2:35:05 56-mile bike; 1:45:07 1/2-marathon run; 5:06:20 total. 474/1,328 overall; 59/337 F; 19/83 F30-34.
• Nipmuck Marathon 6/9/02--Hunt
• American Cancer Society Relay for Life 6/7-8/02, Hodgson Vo-Tech--267 miles total!

Tybee Island Marathon.2/2/02  Margie's road trip with her mom, does it as a training run for Holiday Lake 50K++ in "5:05ish (ahh close enough)....a great course for those who think Philly is flat...this is totally flat and super fast!  Fun beach town with southern hospitality.  The weather was 75F and I wish I packed sunscreen!"

• Icicle 10-Mile Run.  1/20/02, Wilmington, DE.  Nice running conditions, except for the lousy traction in the snow.  Left to right: Carl 1:19:51, Speedy Kathy 1:22:22, Dave 1:19:23, Margie 1:20:18; Hunt 1:23:14, Larry 1:15:50, Erin 1:16:43, Brian just back from his Achilles injury 1:24:11, John 1:11:08.

January 19: Run for Peace/Charlotte Observer Marathon -- Tom Gardner 3:41:14. Check the narrative!

Disney Marathon.1/6/02, Orlando, FL--Connie registered for the half-marathon but mix-up put her in the full marathon, so she went the whole 26.2 for Team Diabetes.  Check out her narrative! With a previous max. long run of only 14 miles, she ran a 4:21:08 chip time, finished 2529th/7950 overall--awesome!
