hours of sunlight on [nearly] the longest day of
the year.

Trail
Markings
– Mason Dixon Blue Blazes and good sense of direction. Interested
runners should
purchase a set of the maps published by the Mason-Dixon Trail
Association.
Other –
this is a free individual effort, and not to be considered an
organized, sponsored or affiliated endeavor;
no applications, releases, etc.;
don’t expect much more
from it other than self-fulfillment.
Realistic
run
estimates – for even a
seasoned fast trail runner, completion in
daylight may be beyond
normal capabilities (doable perhaps only by
speedy mountain goats brandishing a machete);
option to include civil
twilight (05:05 to 21:12 total time: 16:07)
