In the Internet Explorer browser, versions 8 and above, you can enable "compatibility view" to accommodate websites designed for Internet Explorer 7. The compatibility view setting can cause problems for websites designed for modern web browsers. Web Development recommends disabling Internet Explorer compatibility view.
To disable compatibility view:
- Click the Tools menu (or icon that looks like a gear), and then click Compatibility View Settings from the menu.
- The Compatibility View Settings window will open.
- Under Websites you've added to Compatibility View:, click udel.edu
- Click the Remove button.
- Uncheck all the boxes to automatically display websites in compatibility view.
- Click the Close button.
