Meeting was called to
order at 5:20 PM.

General Business
- Schedule of Topics
- the December topic be digital cameras since it was such a popular
topic last year and since many people were unable to attend the
meeting. It was suggested that we solicit topics from the group
through the listserv for future meetings. Some possible topics
that could be suggested were:
- Online tools for
instruction
- scanning - tips
and techniques
- Free web services
for teachers to post websites
- Developing webpages
- Internet Search

- Creating an Integrated
Unit
Major Topic: Computer
Skills Growth Chart
The group held an informal
discussion about the growth chart and its evolution. As before,
copies are available to any group members by visiting the DCET
website or contacting Wendy
Modzelewski if you would like an "official" printed
version.
It was noted that many
of the private schools have not received the chart. Wendy will arrange
for this group to be made aware of this resource and will provide
copies of the chart if they are requested.
Next Meeting will
be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2001. The topic will be Digital
Imaging and our annual holiday party.
