This should be done according to the oEmbed standard. The oEmbed module may be a better choice in that it will not only allow embedding content from services that suipport oEmbed (like YouTube) but would also allow the drupal site to be an oEmbed provider for it's own content, allowing drupal items to be embedded in WordPress and other systems.
