End of 2011 reminders from IT at UD
- Centrally supported systems will be available over the winter break.
- All of Information Technologies' computing sites and service areas will close for the holidays at 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 23 and re-open at 8:00 a.m. on Jan. 3. See this UDaily article for a list of other UD closures over break.
- The IT Support Center will close for the holidays at 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 23 and re-open at 8:00 a.m. on Jan. 3. You may submit Help Requests during winter break; however, they will be processed after the break.
- As UDaily pointed out last week, begin winter break by powering down your campus space wherever you can. Turn off unused systems, monitors, printers, and other devices before you leave for the winter break.
- Faculty: sign up for UD
Capture, our automatic system that records
classroom meetings for online use. For more information,
visit the
UD Capture Web site. You can sign up from
the UD Capture site or by selecting "UD Capture
Recording Request" from the UD Web Forms menu.
Faculty teaching in winter term 2012 should complete the form as soon as possible. Faculty teaching in spring 2012 should complete the form by Jan. 31, 2012.
If you have any questions, submit a Help Request to the IT Support Center.
