Adding UDel Secure for Mac OS 10.4
- Click the AirPort icon in the upper-right corner of the monitor. You will see a window that should look similar to the following (you may see other networks listed as well).
- Click UDel Secure.
- You will see the AirPort dialog box that should look similar to the following:
- Type your User Name and Password in the appropriate fields.
- Click the drop-down arrow to the right of 802.1X Configuration and select TTLS-PAP.
- Click in the checkbox in front of Remember password in my keychain to insert a check mark if one is not there.
- The AirPort dialog box should now look similar to the following:
- Click OK.
- If the server's certificate has not been used before, you will see a Verify Certificate dialog box that should look similar to the following:
- Click Show Certificate. You will see the Verify Certificate dialog box that should look similar to the following:
- Click the Thawte Premium Server CA icon.
- Click the arrow in front of Trust Settings and set it to always trust this certificate.
- Click Continue. In a few seconds your laptop should be connected to UDel Secure.
- To ensure that your laptop always connects to UDel Secure when the network is in range, open System Preferences.
- Click Network.
- From the drop-down arrow to the left of the Show field, click AirPort.
- From the drop-down arrow next to By default, join, click Preferred Networks.
- Click on UDel Secure and drag it to move it to the top of the list.
- If you see the message Apply configuration changes?, click Apply.
Removing UDel Secure from Mac OS 10.4
- Click the AirPort icon in the upper-right corner of the monitor.
- Click Open Network Connection. You will see a window that should look similar to the following:
- Click the 802.1X icon at the top of the screen. You will see a window that should look similar to the following:
- Click the drop-down arrow to the right of Configuration and choose Edit Configuration.
- In the left-hand column, be sure that WPA: UDel Secure is highlighted. Click the minus at the bottom of the column to delete it.
