Unlocking a locked Inbox

If you receive a message that your Inbox folder is locked or in read-only mode, you probably have more than one open session of Pine. To solve the problem, follow these steps:

1. Quit Pine.
2. At the UNIX prompt, type kill -9 -1
3. Press ENTER.

You should now be able to start the Pine again and continue your work.
