Wireless System Requirements

What do I need to get connected?

Most new notebooks computers sold today have wireless networking capability built-in. Check for "wi-fi" or wireless LAN features of your computer. To use the UD's wireless network, your computer must support one or more of the IEEE 802.11b, 802.11g or 802.11n standards and meet the minimum requirements for memory, hard drive space and OS to run the software to connect to the network. If your computer does not have this capability built in, you will need to purchase a wireless LAN card for your PC or Macintosh. If you would like help in determining if your computer has wireless capability or in deciding which wireless network card is best for you, please contact the Technology Solutions Center at (302) 831-8895 or visit the links below for product recommendations.
