- Click on the Start button and choose Control Panel.
- Click on Classic View in the left-hand pane so that it looks like this:
- Double-click the Network and Sharing Center icon.
- Click on Manage wireless networks in the left-hand column.
- Click Add a network that is in range of this computer.
- Click the Add button (with the green plus sign).
- If UDel is not listed in the networks you can connect to, then you must move your system so that you are in range of a Udel access point. There are access points in all dorm lounges and in many classroom buildings.
- Once in range of a UDel access point (you can click the button with the blue arrows in the upper right to refresh the list), click on Udel and then click the Connect button.
- A dialog box will appear informing you that a connection to the wireless network you chose is being attempted. When it is successful it will report "Connected!"
- Open up your web browser, navigate to http://www.udel.edu/help/register.html and register your wireless card for use on the network.
