Configuration Instructions

Note:
If you have previously registered your AirPort card and have an AirPort icon on your menu bar, you can use the AirPort icon to select a UD wireless access point.

• From the Apple menu, select System Preferences
  



• Click on Network icon
  

(Jaguar Users Only)
Select:

• Automatic from the Location: drop-down menu.
• Airport from the Show: drop-down menu.Click on the AirPort tab.
• Click the radio button next to Join a network with best signal.
• Check the Show Airport status in menu bar checkbox near the bottom.
• DO NOT check the Allow this computer to create networks check box.
• Click the Apply Now button.
  
  
  

(Panther Users Only)
Select:

• Automatic from the Location: drop-down menu.
• Network Status from the Show: drop-down menu.
• Turn AirPort on by clicking the Connect... button.

• In the AirPort window, select the desired network from the Network: drop-down menu.
• Click in the box next to "Show AirPort status in menu bar" if it has no check mark.
• Close the AirPort window.
  
  
  
  

(Jaguar and Panther Users)

• Future wireless connections can be made by using the AirPort icon in your menu bar.
