Accommodations

Rooms are being held at two locations, with block reservations available from June 14-17. "UD PBL" should be mentioned to get the preferred rate.

The Courtyard Marriott at the University of Delaware opened in November 2004 and is walking distance to campus. Reservations: (302) 737-0900. Workshop rate: $129 plus tax. The cut-off date to take advantage of this block reservation is Friday, May 27.

The Sleep Inn is an attractive option but is approximately a twenty minute walk to campus. Reservations: (302) 453-1700. Workshop rate: $79 plus tax. The cut-off date to take advantage of this block reservation is Friday, June 3.

Daily shuttle service will be provided from these two hotels to the workshop location and return.

Other possibilities for local accommodation are available at http://www.udel.edu/admissions/viewbook/visit/accommodations.html. Embassy Suites and Homewood Suites (Hilton) are also nearby and provide comprehensive accommodations.

Transportation

Airports serving Newark, Delaware are the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), approximately 40 miles, and the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), approximately 70 miles.
