This meeting is for faculty/staff who have participated in either the Institute for Undergraduate Education (ITUE) or any of the problem-based learning (PBL) workshops to hear about new opportunities for those who are using student-centered methods in their classes.

Among the topics to be discussed are:

Details about the PBL 2002 Conference, slated for June 16-20, 2002, in Baltimore, and how UD faculty participating and assisting with the conference may be eligible for special reduced registration rates. For more information, check out the web site at [http://www.udel.edu/pbl2002].

PBL Clearinghouse and new funding opportunities, as well as details about a new development program sponsored by ITUE. For more information, check out the web site at [http://www.udel.edu/pblc/].

The availability of wireless technology available in PBL classrooms and the possibilities of integrating new wireless technology with problem-based instruction. Participants will have the opportunity to use this new technology. For more information, check out the web site at [http://www.udel.edu/pbl/wireless/].

Opportunities for faculty using PBL in general education courses also will be explored.
