Human Services Major
The Human Services Major
(HS) is for students wishing to work within
public, nonprofit, and private agencies
serving clients, infants through the aged,
and their families.
The Human Services Major
is also for students who are preparing themselves
for graduate study in such fields as counseling/social
work, public administration, nonprofit leadership,
human development and family studies, or
law. Combining course work and clinical
experiences, the program of study prepares
graduates for positions in direct client
services and/or management and administration.
There are two concentrations
the Human Services major can pursue:
Clinical
Services Concentration
Administration
and Family Policy Concentration
