My areas of interest in early childhood education, public policy and advocacy reflect thirty years of professional experience in the field of education serving as a public school teacher, early childhood center director, State Legislator, Education Advisor to the Governor, policy coordinator for the Interagency Resource Management Council within the Delaware Department of Education and international school management advisor.
As a clinical faculty member of the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, I currently serve as the Director of the University of Delaware Lab Preschool. The Lab Preschool is a nationally accredited and state-licensed preschool, which provides quality care and education for sixty-six children ages eighteen months to six years in an inclusive setting.
