Interests and Activities:

I am pleased to join the faculty of the Human Development and Family Studies Department on a full-time basis after having worked in the Division of Student Life as an administrator and part-time faculty member for over thirty years. During that time, I found that the day-to-day experiences as a senior administrator stimulated my interest in research and scholarly activities. I appreciate the opportunity I have had to live the professional life of a scientist-practitioner and believe that experience will continue to inform and enhance the work I am now doing in teaching, research, and service.

My research interests tend to focus in two areas: (1) issues related to the psychological needs of college students and (2) the organization and strategic planning activities for delivering mental health services on college and university campuses.
