Early Childhood Education (ECE) Program
Human Services (HS) Program

The pre-professional undergraduate programs in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies are designed for students interested in challenging but rewarding careers in the helping professions. Students in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program combine course work with student teaching to prepare them for child-focused positions. Course work and field placements in the Human Services (HS) program prepare students for human service careers. Both programs are recognized by national accreditation organizations for their excellence in meeting the academic and pre-professional standards for their respective disciplines. Student organizations and study abroad opportunities further enhance the undergraduate experience.

In the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, we do more than just work with people ... we make a difference in people's lives.
