Strategic Task Forces

This task force identifies and attempts to reach consensus about the main barriers preventing access to U.S. higher education. Smaller teams of task force members work on defining these problems and developing action plans to address them. IIE's Open Doors website on student mobility. Here can be found extensive data and background materials. Open Doors is part of the IIENetwork, which is an internet forum for international education professionals to share experience and knowledge and build relationships that strengthen professional practice. The IIENetwork brings together international educators online and allows them to interact with others based on their specific interests and needs. Although some of the resources at Open Doors are for members only, there are also resources available to non-members.
