Postgraduates
The Instiute of Energy Converson (IEC) at the University of Delaware expects to hire fron 2 to 4 postdoctoral graduates between November and December 2011
IEC is a fully-integrated photovoltaic science and engineering laboratory dedicated to research and development of solar cell processing, materials and devices.
- Material systems of interest include thin film CdTe, thin film Cu(InGa)Se2 and its alloys, thin film nanocrystalline Si, and crystalline Si
- Research projects include materials deposition and charactaerization, process development, device design and fabrication, device modeling and analysis, and accelerated stability.
- Qualifications include experience in research on solar cell focused on materials and deposition or devices and an M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
