Andrew McDermott has been a Research Associate at the Institute of Energy Conversion at the University of Delaware since 2007. He received his A.A.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Delaware Technical and Community College in 1983.
Prior to joining the Institute of Energy Conversion he worked at the Bartol Research Institute at the University of Delaware for 18 years. At Bartol Research Institute Mr. McDermott was responsible for all technical aspects in the development, construction, maintenance and operation of complex high altitude balloon borne cosmic ray measurement systems.
In his role at the Institute of Energy Conversion Mr. McDermott provides electrical and electronics expertise in support of all aspects of research at the Institute.
