UD SAMPLE PAGES

This area contains some samples which could be used to create future University of Delaware web pages. These pages contain absolute links to the needed images, so only the body of the page and any additional navigation tools need be changed.

Sample 1

This page includes a horizontal navigation bar, and 3 columns of content. The first column includes a search and department contact information. The center column includes the main page content. The right column can include photos, text, or it can be left blank.

When creating University web pages, it is best to use a plain white background, as seen on the top-level web and in these samples. The white background provides high readability. An exception would be the use of a cream-colored background on UD web forms; this allows greater visibility for the entry blanks of the form. (See the standard Web Feedback Form as an example; it uses this image as its background tile.)
