FORMATTING & ALIGNMENT

Consistency in the layout of headings and the placement of site identifiers keeps visitors oriented and eliminates confusion.

Required:

Use consistent alignment on all pages.

Use consistent sizes and spacing for titles and text from page to page.

Include a consistent identifier (e.g., logo or name) on each level of a site.

Add white space to enhance the legibility and look of your page. White space is the empty area on a page that gives the eye a place to rest and, by providing contrast, highlights the graphics and text that it surrounds.
