College of Education and Human Development Digital Storytelling

Digital Storytelling is the use of multimedia sound and graphics to tell stories comprising photos, narrations, imagery, sound effects, video, and music. On the iPad, a terrific tool for creating digital stories is the iMovie app. Its design makes digital storytelling so straightforward and intuitive that anyone can learn to do it. In this activity, you learn to use one of our iPads to create a movie trailer featuring yourself. For your entertainment, we will present an award-winning digital story that exemplifies the power of this new medium. And we will take you on a virtual tour of the National Center for Digital Storytelling.
