The reason I chose UD: UD has the only undergraduate program in Art Conservation, which I've wanted to do since 9th grade. The close knit community of the Honors Program was a huge draw as well.
Most influential UD professor: Dr. Vicki Cassman has been a great advisor to me, recommending internships and offering academic guidance.
Favorite Honors experience: I really enjoy the Fall Dance put on by the Senior Fellows.
I couldn't imagine the UD Honors Program without . . . the staff that runs it. The Honors Program has such a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone there knows my name, my interests, things I've been working on. Friendly conversation usually keeps me there longer than I intend. What's great is when the staff spend time with students outside of the professional setting.
At UD, I am most involved in . . . Senior and Writing Fellows, Swing Club, and Warriors for Christ.
What does the UDHP mean to me? The Honors Program is a family of staff, faculty, and students who seek academic and social excellence. They challenge students to achieve far-fetched dreams and will work to remove the obstacles.
When I'm up late studying . . . I crave Cosi's mint hot chocolate.
My favorite Honors Program and UD traditions are . . . picnics on the porch of the Honors Program.
