The Reason I chose UD: UD has a great reputation, and it's not too far from home.
Most influential UD professor: Professor Marra, in the Economics Department. Professor Marra first got me interested in Economics in an Honors Class freshman year. He would always take time to talk further about the subject during office hours. This caused me to decide to declare an ECON minor, and its a subject I still follow closely even after completing the minor.
Favorite Honors experience: My Freshman year Russell Fellows were great. Katie Baker, my Russell Fellow, and her roommate Diane Cipriani (also a Russell Fellow) always had their door open and often invited us to stop by for hot chocolate. It was really nice having them as a resource and we still keep in touch.
I couldn't imagine the UD Honors Program without . . . Smaller classes. It was nice to have classes that were 15 to 20 students with some of the best professors in their departments starting as a Freshman.
At UD, I am most involved in . . . Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity, The Dynamic Vision Lab, and UD's Rock Climbing Wall
What does the UDHP mean to me? A community of like-minded driven leaders, that will make a positive difference at this University, and eventually globally.
When I'm up late studying . . . I crave Wings
My favorite Honors Program and UD traditions are . . . I like going to the President's Forum on Innovation and Entrepreneurship each year to hear speakers. Last year, I got to meet Dr. Alfred Spector, the Vice President of Research and Special Initiatives at Google.
