The Reason I chose UD: I chose UD because: A) It has a very good and highly accredited chemical engineering program; B) I was accepted into UD's honors program, and C) I got a generous scholarship from UD and the UD RISE Program.
Most influential UD professor: Professor B.A. Ogunnaike from the Chemical Engineering Department because I had the privilege of working on one of his research projects as a Science and Engineering Scholar.
Favorite Honors experience: The coffee house put up by the Russell and Freshman fellows every fall and spring semester.
I couldn't imagine the UD Honors Program without . . . the Russell Fellows because they facilitate community building in the Honors freshman residence halls.
At UD, I am most involved in . . . Residence Life as a Resident Assistant, the National Society of Black Engineers as their 2010/2011 Vice President, and UD Gospel Choir.
What does the UDHP mean to me? It means an opportunity for me to challenge myself academically, to meet motivated and well-talented individuals, and to interact with the fabulous honors program staff.
When I'm up late studying . . . Dunkin Donuts hot chocolate.
My favorite Honors Program and UD traditions are . . . The Honors coffee house, the Multi-Ethnic Career Development Conference, and the African-American Students of Distinction reception.
