Goalpost Party

Saturday, October 18 (immediately following the game, approximately 3:30 p.m.)
Hospitality Village

The Goalpost Party is back, and it’s better than ever! Register early, space is limited. Join us under the President’s tent in the Hospitality Village on South Campus adjacent to the new addition of the Bob Carpenter Center and the VIP gold lot. Guests will be treated to music, food and fun.

The $20 admission includes endless appetizers, two drink tickets, a cash bar, photo booth and more. Open to Blue Hens and guests. A photo I.D. is required to purchase alcohol.

Appetizers and food include chicken fingers with assorted dipping sauces, meatball subs, chicken quesadillas, chilled spinach dip served with bread, warm soft pretzels, garden crudites served with hummus and ranch dip, and popcorn. Water and assorted soft drinks will also be served along with coffee, tea and cash bar.

If you are not attending the game, but plan to park on South Campus, Parking Lot #88 opens at halftime. Lot #88 includes spaces in front of, or near the Delaware Field House.

The deadline for a full refund is Monday, October 13 at 4:30 p.m. No refunds will be issued after that date.

In the event of inclement weather, UD reserves the right to postpone the event to later in the evening or cancel the Goalpost Party. No refunds will be issued if the Goalpost Party is postponed or cancelled.

You may transfer your registration to another person by sending an email to no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Please include your full name and registration confirmation number along with the recipient’s full name and class year. Name badge transfers will not be accepted after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15.

Blue Hen Homecoming 5K RUN/WALK

Friday, October 17 at 5:30 p.m.
The course includes the UD Athletics Complex and College of Agriculture & Natural Resources.

Join fellow UD alumni, students, faculty/staff, friends & family on the course through the UD Athletics Complex and College of Agriculture & Natural Resources. The course terrain includes asphalt, gravel and dirt.

In appreciation for all runners' participation, Delaware Football invites those who register in advance to purchase discounted tickets to the Homecoming game vs. CAA opponent Towson (Saturday, 10/18 at 12:30 p.m.).

UD Alumni Association Awards

Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement

The Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement honors University of Delaware graduates of the last 20 years who exhibit great promise in their professional career and/or public service activities. Recognition will take place on Friday, October 17th at 5:30 p.m. in Gore Recital Hall, Roselle Center for the Arts.

UDAA Outstanding Alumni Award

Presented annually to alumni in recognition of their exemplary work on behalf of the University of Delaware and/or the UD Alumni Association, the UDAA Outstanding Alumni Awards will be presented on Saturday, October 18 at halftime of the UD football game.

Art Under the Stars

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources will hold its seventh annual ceremony to announce and celebrate the George M.
