New NSS License Server: license.nss.udel.edu  (6/12/09)

Users will need to update their local installations to direct license requests to IT's new license server for the following products: ArcGIS - All versions, Maple - Version 13 and later, Mathematica - Version 7 and later, Matlab- All versions.

To properly protect our licenses, license.nss.udel.edu is locked down for off-campus access. Each user must register his computer for access to the license server while connected from each off-campus location before trying to use the software. See www.udel.edu/license-auth/.

Using Mathematica with a network license is only viable on-campus for any UD-owned computer. Students may only install a single-machine copy. Off-campus access for faculty/staff require requesting a home-use license for a non-UD-owned computer or installing a single-machine copy on a UD-owned computer. See UDeploy for complete details under Windows, Mac or Unix/Linux software for Scientific and Research Software: Mathematica.
